Creating and Managing Categories

Using categories in a website allows you to organize your website based on the topics and content within the different sections. There are unlimited number of subcategories (levels) you can create. Choosing "Add New Category" allows you to create new category and choose if it is going to be top-level category (leave "parent category" in drop-down), or sub-category (choose appropriate parent category in drop-down). You can easily manage category/subcategory preferences by clicking on category name in Category Management.

You can set arbitrary number of articles to display on category page, as well as header and template to go with the category. This way you can have different template, for literally every category on your site.

Managing News and Articles

Vivvo allows you to quickly create articles, whether they are short summary types of publications or lengthy documents and articles with multimedia video/audio files.

To create a new article, choose "Add New Article" in Article Management. Besides standard options, you can choose publishing date, type of article (refer to section 3.2 for full list of supported types) and and upload any files that go with the article. Complete text is managed using built-in WYSIWYG editor.

Managing Comments

You can easily manage comments either from edit article menu (Article Management -> <click on article>) from the bottom of the article options menu, or directly from Comments Management. From main comments window you can easily amend/delete any site-wide comments, while inside Article Management you'll see only comments related to specific article. For each comment IP address is logged so you can track visitors who leave comments on your site.

Managing Users

There are four types of users based on their privileges in Vivvo.

Administrator can create user accounts and grant privileges to them. Each user has its detailed page that has public access where visitors can see the author details such as bio, contributed articles, home page, email address and picture.
